1-year supply and fitting guarantee

When we supply and fit your lock, the guarantee covers both the lock and our installation.

Plus costs €30 for one additional year. You can buy it while your lock is still under warranty.

For aftercare, send your order details and a description of the issue. Customer-supplied locks are outside our supply-and-fitting guarantee.

Common questions.

Is there a call-out or quote fee?: No. Quotes and call-outs are free. We agree the total for the work before installation. Travel charges apply in remote areas and for UK visits.
Is installation included?: Yes. On-site installation and replacement of your existing lock are included with every lock bought from us in Dublin and nearby areas. A travel charge applies in remote areas and is agreed before booking.
Can you fit a lock I already own?: Yes. Send the model and door photos so we can check compatibility and quote in advance.
Do you fit traditional door locks?: Yes. We supply and fit traditional door locks as well as smart locks. Send photos of your door and existing lock so we can check what fits.
Can you replace just the lock cylinder?: Yes, if the existing lock and door are suitable. Send photos of the door and lock so we can check whether only the cylinder needs replacing.
Will a smart lock fit my door?: It depends on the door material, existing lock and frame. Send photos first so we can check whether the existing mechanism can stay and whether the door needs any changes.
What should I send for a quote?: Send your town or county, preferred appointment dates, and photos of the front, back, edge and lock opening. Include a wider entrance photo so we can see any canopy and assess weather exposure.
How soon will I hear back?: We respond within 24 hours. Please book around one week ahead where possible. We confirm the visit separately and fit locks Monday to Saturday, 08:00–18:00.
How long does installation take?: Usually 1–2 hours, depending on the lock and the door.
What if the batteries run out?: Backup access differs by model. Ask us to confirm the low-battery warning and backup access options for the lock you choose.
Do you test the lock and show me how to use it?: We test the lock on site after fitting. For locks bought from us, we explain all features of the model. For customer-supplied locks, we demonstrate basic locking, unlocking and deadlocking where applicable.
Which areas do you cover?: We cover the island of Ireland. UK visits are available by arrangement, with travel costs paid by the customer.
