Door lock installation and cylinder replacement

We supply and install smart locks and traditional door locks. We also replace cylinders where the existing lock is suitable.

On-site installation included in Dublin and nearby areas. Every lock bought from us includes fitting or replacement of your existing lock in these areas. A travel charge applies in remote areas and is agreed before booking. We can also assess and fit a lock you already own.

Smart lock installation

Send the model you are considering and photos of your existing door and lock. Include a wide view showing any rain cover.

Traditional door lock installation

Send photos of the existing lock, door edge and frame. Tell us whether this is a new fitting or a replacement.

Lock cylinder replacement

Send close-up photos of both sides of the lock and the door edge. We will assess whether the cylinder can be replaced while keeping the existing lock.

1. Send door photos

Share your town or county, preferred dates, the door front, back, edge and lock opening, plus a wider entrance photo showing any rain cover. We use these to assess fit, existing hardware and weather exposure.

2. Agree your quote and visit

We reply within 24 hours. Quotes and call-outs are free. We agree the total, including any travel charge, before installation. Please allow around one week when booking. We confirm the appointment separately.

3. Have your lock fitted

Fitting usually takes 1–2 hours. We serve the island of Ireland by appointment, Monday to Saturday, 08:00–18:00. UK visits are available by arrangement, with travel costs paid by the customer.

4. Test and handover

We test the lock on site after fitting. For locks bought from us, we explain all features of the model. For customer-supplied locks, we demonstrate basic locking, unlocking and deadlocking where applicable.

Aftercare

Locks we supply and fit come with a one-year guarantee covering the lock and installation. Plus adds one year for €30 while your lock remains under warranty.
